Prevent Blindness Florida and PeakBiety put focus on eye exams

TAMPA. FL—PeakBiety Branding + Advertising will assist Prevent Blindness Florida in their efforts to promote the importance of eye exams throughout the state of Florida. The agency will develop a pro bono awareness campaign with materials to be displayed in medical offices and retail establishments.

“Half of all blindness could be prevented through regular exams,” says Jay Tobin, CEO at Prevent Blindness Florida, “We hope this campaign will help convince people to get regular eye exams so Floridians can enjoy healthy eyesight for a lifetime.”

Prevent Blindness Florida, an affiliate of Prevent Blindness America, was established in 1957 and is the state's leading sight-saving organization. Programs include vision screenings for adults and children as well as sponsorship of “The Eye Patch Club,” a support group for children with amblyopia, also known as “lazy eye.”
